the sypmathy belly, it weighs 30 lbs!
I also had a great shopping day with my Mom, sister, and niece 2 weeks ago. Wendy and Iris 'skipped' school to help me finish up my registry at Babies R Us and go fabric shopping for Will's nursery. Still haven't found any fabric that I just love for his bedding, but we had a great day anyway. And it was really nice to have my experienced sister with me to help register! There's alot of stuff out there that you just don't need, and there's so many options on the things that you do need! It's hard to differentiate what's good and what isn't. And of course, it was fun to have Miss Iris with us! She's too cute. I also got the crib ordered that day! However, it takes 10 weeks to come in, so it will be the end of May before I actually get it in the house. I'll also be seeing it for the first time when it gets here. Yes, I ordered it sight unseen! I really like the look of it, so Mom and I got the measurements and compared them to the other cribs in the store by the same company. I can't wait for it to get here!
I also got to have lunch with Emily and sweet baby Ellie last Monday. That baby is just too cute!!! She was really good during lunch. Emily and I got to gab away while she slept. She woke up after we had eaten and I got to hold her for a bit. She just stared at me and smiled. Can't wait for Mr. Will to get here and do the same thing.
We also got a package in the mail from some of Cole's customers in California. Nyuri and Veronica went shopping in Cali and got Will some cute outfits! He's going to be quite decked out in all his cute clothes! Thank you Nyuri and Veronica! Will can't wait to meet yall!
"The Boss"
This weekend was also really busy! Saturday morning I got up and went to Memphis to have lunch with my bestest, Melanie. We've known each other since I was born (she's 5 months older, ha!) and our parents are still friends. We hadn't seen each other since Christmas, and I can't believe we forgot to take a picture! It was really nice to get to catch up with her and have some great food. I had never eaten at Panera bread so we went there. I ended up taking home 4 bagels and 1 muffins for Cole and I. Their bread is delicious!!!
Then I headed to another friends house to get ready for a wedding shower for my college friend, Cathy. Jenny was the main party planner on the shower and it turned out very cute! She always does a great job with parties. She really needs to quit her day job and be a party planner. We even had adorable party favor. Since the shower theme was "entertainment" she put ribbon and a label on small bottles of wine to hand out to guests. We of course had lots of really yummy food and drinks. Grapes, crackers, cheese, sliders, wings, stuffed mushrooms, bacon wrapped dates, bruschetta, cupcakes, and frito canydy! Not to mention the wine, beer, and sangria. It was a great party and we can't wait for Cathy's wedding in May!
On Sunday we went to Cole's parents for lunch. Our nephews ate with us and Jarrett brought us a present he had picked out for Will. He got him some Pee-Pee TeePee's! We will definately be needing those in a few months! Cole's dad also had a little gift for Will. We stared calling the baby Willie Wonka before we knew if it was a boy or girl, just as a little joke. Well, wonka brand has started making chocolate bars that could have a golden ticket with them! So Steve got Will his very own Willie Wonka bar!
As far as a baby update goes, I was 23 weeks on Saturday and Will has been kicking like crazy!!! He has a very rigid sleep/wake schedule and wakes up every 3 hours on the dot. He immediately starts kicking me, or doing flips, or something...he's definately a wild man already! I told Cole I hope this isn't a glimpse of what's to come!
