We had a pretty uneventful weekend. Which, turned out to be nice for a change! We ended up going to Memphis on Saturday in hopes of ordering a crib. That turned out to be a disappointment. I can't seem to find one that I just love, but Cole says I'm being too picky. Hmmm...Me? Picky? I literally have been looking for a crib since the day we found out we were pregnant. But, the good news is that I did come home and get on the internet and find one that I do like..not love, but it's the best I've seen so far. So, hopefully I can get it ordered this week.
We also had a date, and went to eat at Bonefish. Yum! It was well worth the 1 hour wait. Then we hopped on over to Target to finish our registry there. I really love the car seat and stroller that I registered for. Again, after me being incredibly picky, I discovered one that I love! It also is rated very highly by other moms, which was important to me. Plus, I like the fabric pattern, which I know is not important, but I wanted to atleast find one I wouldn't mind looking at every single day!
We also registered at Pottery Barn kids this weekend. I wasn't planning on registering there, but I found a few really cute things there that I liked so I couldn't resist! My absolute favorite is the adorable gingham bibs they have. And, of course, since I love all things monogrammed I was completely suckered into them.
That's about all we managed to do this weekend. This time change has really messed me up this year! Does that mean I'm getting old? I think I'll just blame it on the baby.
We also had a check-up doctor's appointment this morning. It also was uneventful, but that is definately a good thing! I've only gained about 11 pounds, but that's right on track. Everything looked great with Mr. Will and we got to hear the heartbeat, which I'm pretty sure is the main reason that Cole likes to go with me. :) We were able to record it today so now we can listen to it whenever we want.
We also talked about middle names..again. And I think that we have picked one, but we'll keep everyone in suspense for just a little while longer!
i love that you registered at Pottery Barn.. you know where my gift is coming from... ha! :) love everything you've picked out!
ReplyDeleteoh - and do you by chance know what colors you're doing his nursery in?? i'm starting a little something for you and need to know! no rush though! :)
OK now I see what you were talking about with the stroller, mine does not do that! But that is cool! You will like being able to see him facing you even when he is out of the infant seat. And I like the crib! Where did you find it??
ReplyDeleteNat- I love pb too! how could I pass it up!?
ReplyDeleteAnd I don't know my nursery colors yet. I'm going to pick out fabric soon, a lady here is making the bedding and window treatments. I'm thinking light blue and green though, but we will see!
Em- I found the crib on babytime.com. I hope they have it out in the store to look at before I order it! Glad you like it :)
