The joys of food!

If there's one thing I never understood about pregnant women it's the cravings. I always thought it was just something kind of made up. Turns out that's not true. The other thing I never knew was that the baby can taste (somewhat) what you're eating through the amniotic fluid they swallow. Poor Will. I have wanted some pretty random things since I've been pregnant. Things I wouldn't normally just want to eat. The biggest things so far have been raw onions and buffalo wings (or anything buffalo flavored). Good thing Lenny's has raw white onions as a sandwich topping! I'm pretty sure I eat there atleast once a week, if not more. I also figured out a healthy buffalo "wing." I've cooked boneless, skinless chicken tenders with buffalo sauce on them in the oven. It solves the craving. The other downfall has been Dorito's new Buffalo Ranch chips! I have to keep myself away from them. I've also really enjoyed ice cream (Cole insists on Baskin Robbins after every childbirth class), vegetables (Brooksie's Barn has been a favorite of mine lately), and salads. The Cheesecake Factory has also been plaguing me for quite some time, and I've yet to have it! That will be next on my list :)

  1. I surprisingly haven't had any intense cravings since becoming pregnant. I craved an orange everyday for awhile, but I don't feel like i need that anymore. I am enjoying fruits and veggies everyday.
It's weird how we crave or don't crave things.
