Wow! I am worn out! Our weekend kicked off Friday night with me getting home from work to find Cole sick with a sinus infection. He had no voice. I ended up sleeping on the couch that night due to his snoring! We got up bright and early the next morning to head to Tunica for a cattle sale. I dropped Cole off at the sale and then I hopped the river to Arkansas to visit my grandfather who has been in the hospital. He's doing much better than he was 2 weeks ago, and I was glad to be able to see him. Turned around from there, picked up Cole and his dad in Tunica and then we headed to Memphis to get my dad. We all headed downtown for the Memphis/Southern Mississippi game. Dad, of course, wore his Memphis hat and his Southern jacket. The rest of us were Memphis fans that night. After the game we had to take Cole's dad home to Lexington then we came back to Jackson. Got up the next morning, went to church and then headed to Memphis again for Miss Iris' 2nd birthday party. I can't believe that she is 2 now! We gave her a Fancy Nancy book and tutu, which she immediately put on and wore the entire time. Too cute. She also got two strollers for her baby dolls that we rubber banded together so she could have a double stroller. She really loves those strollers! While we were in Memphis on Sunday, my sweet Cole took me to Gap for some maternity clothes shopping. I finally had to get some maternity jeans. Mine are just too tight now! Cole sat with his fngers crossed while I tried them all on. Due to my height I have a hard time with jeans anyway, but luckily Gap carries tall sizes in maternity jeans! We were both relieved.
Another good thing from this weekend...Cole came home with a new truck on Friday! If you have ever seen his old one you know how excited I am about getting a different one! This is actually a normal truck, with normal tires, and is a normal height! We call it his Daddy truck. He says it's much better than his old one, and he didn't realize what he was missing. Thank goodness!
Only two more days until we find out if Sweet Pea/Willie Wonka is a boy or a girl! We are very excited to find out and start getting things ready for this baby!

You should check Motherhood Maternity for clothes.
ReplyDeleteThey have great deals and their jeans are long enough for me so they should be long enough for you. And they are very comfortable!
But I do have quite a few clothes from there and I love them all. Check online too. Sometimes they have even better deals on there.
2 days! It'll be here before you know it!!!!
So excited to hear what you're having!
I think the name voting was rigged.
