We are home from our first family vaca! Cole and I packed up and headed south with Will in tow. there wasn't so smooth, but we discovered that Will's new carseat straps were cutting into his neck when we stopped at the McD's play area due to his screaming! Cole fixed the problem and we were on our way. Needless to say, the ride back was much better!
We spent almost everyday out on the beach, except for the day it rained which we promptly turned into a shopping day! My aunt who lives in Destin also came over for a visit one day while we were there. She hadn't seen Will since Thanksgiving, so she had to come get some Will loving!
Will wasn't so sure about the noise of the ocean at first, but he warmed up after a day or two. He absoulutely loved to play in the sand and splash in the ocean. I showed him how to sit in the sand and let the ocean wash up on him, which quickly became his favorite tWe were also joined by Emily, Ellie, Jenny, and Miss Kaitlyn, our wonderful babysitter. The ride down hing to do. He was so funny to watch. We had a wonderful time, and I can't wait to go back!
