Fabric Drama!

Who knew that picking out fabric for little Will's nursery would become such drama for us! I know I posted a picture earlier of the polka dot fabric with the grey linen fabric, but I still have been searching for a blue fabric with some texture to mix with the other two fabrics. Turns out, that blue is very hard to match! I have been to what seems like hundreds (which is an exaggeration!) of fabric stores all around Memphis and Jackson looking for the perfect blue, dragging my mother-in-law or my mom with me in the process. FINALLY, last saturday my mom and I found the perfect fabric and along with it was a big, fat SOLD sticker on the entire bolt! Needless to say I was very disappointed. The ladies at the shop took my number and said they would call me if they could get any more of it in. And of course, no such luck. However, last Thursday they called me and the lady that had bought the entire bolt changed her mind! I immediately said I would take and called my dad to see if he could go pick it up asap! (I was at work, and the store is in Memphis) So mom brought me the fabric this weekend, and all is right in my little fabric world now :)
Hopefully I will be able to take all the fabric to the lady who is making the bedding tomorrow and Will's nursery can get started!
The furniture has also been shipped and should be here any day now! Things are really starting to come together. I can't wait to see how they turn out!
